Description

Brain stroke is severe condition leading various symptoms and deficits to patients, usually occurs in aged and high risk patients like tobacco chewers, smokers, hypertensive, diabetic and other genetic disorders. There are two types of strokes : Ischemic and Hemorrhagic. Ischemic stroke; occurs dur to blockage of blood supply to brain resulting into brain ischemia and necrosis . Hemorrhagic Stroke; Occurs due to rupture of blood vessel resulting into brain hemorrhage and brain damage. Symptoms: Severe Headache, Vomiting's, Seizures, Limb deficit, Hemiparesis, Loss of Consciousness, etc Diagnosis: Clinically and Imaging( NCCT Brain/ MRI Brain ) Management: Medical or Surgical depending upon patients condition and Imaging findings.
